WHY IS EVERYONE SO OBSESSED WITH OXYTOCIN there are so many more cool and interesting molecules in the world of chemistry that do interesting things like regulate muscle tone or increase blood sugar in times of stress but nope everyone only cares about oxytocin i see like 5 posts a day talking about how it is the love hormone but no one ever cares about any of the other things it does either like if you were to have it injected directly into your cerebrospinal fluid it would cause a spontaneous erection HOW IS THAT NOT MORE INTERESTING THAN KNOWING THAT IT IS THE “LOVE” HORMONE
Whilst I normally mock big ranty paragraphs, this man is very correct.
